Making diagnostics accessible to all.
A spin-out from Uppsala University, translating 30 years of molecular research into diagnostics that work anywhere.
Our Story
Readily Diagnostics was founded in December 2022 as a spin-out from Uppsala University. The company is built on over 30 years of research into padlock probes and rolling-circle amplification, pioneered by Professor Ulf Landegren's Molecular Tools group at the Department of Immunology, Genetics and Pathology.
The core innovation enabling rapid point-of-care use was developed by Dr Liza Löf during her research in the same group. In 2020, she and her colleagues demonstrated that the same molecular method used in research settings could be compressed into a 30-minute instrument-free assay.
Readily was founded to turn that discovery into a product — and a company.
